‘Making the simple complicated is commonplace; making the complicated simple, awesomely simple, that’s creativity.’
Yellowfields is the design practice of graphic designer and cartographer, Jason Clark. With extensive experience in both the private and public sectors, he now practices from his studio based in Brixham, south Devon.
He offers a creative and practical approach, underlined by a strong technical know-how, to resolve graphic and cartographic design problems for clients throughout the UK. His aim is to present information and ideas with clarity and simplicity — ensuring they are also accessible, sustainable and support your business and/or personal objectives.
Whilst the core offer revolves around cartography, graphic design and online design, it also extends to the inclusive and complementary areas of typography, 2D/3D illustration, environmental graphics (signs and interpretation media), wayfinding (audits and strategies) and imaging (photographic manipulation and correction, montages and panoramic images).
Jason specialises in delivering design solutions to professionals in transport, town planning, urban design, architecture and regeneration — whether the requirement is for a brochure-style website, supporting planning document, masterplan graphic or a public transport network map.
