Jason Clark MA

The joy of analogue. It’s a digital age, but the joy of analogue is often unsurpassed — real user experience and interaction. This image also shows the beautifully simple and minimal ceramic speakers by Joey Roth.

The founder and Associate of Yellowfields, Jason is a cartographer and information designer with over 20 years of experience gained within the public and private sectors, primarily in the fields of transport and town planning.

Based in his studio in south Devon, he works both independently and collaboratively with other professionals as projects require. Clients are spread around the UK in both the public and private sectors; from sole traders to blue-chip companies, and small not-for-profit organisations to Government departments.

His experience covers cartography, GIS, graphic design and wayfinding — quite a mix, but Jason has always recognised the transferability of skills between disciplines and the enriched solutions that emerge.

He was previously a principal consultant is visual communications at Steer Davies Gleave, a graphic designer / cartographer at Nathaniel Lichfield & Partners, and at rural and urban local authorities prior to that.

“A designer knows he has achieved perfection not when there is nothing left to add, but when there is nothing left to take away.”

—Antoine de Saint Exupéry

Cartographic tools for the Mac

Application icons.

Do you know your application icons?
