User-centred Design

User-Centred Design

User-Centred Design poster designed by Pascal Raabe.

An A1 poster created by a talented young German designer, Pascal Raabe, who I had the pleasure of working with at City ID earlier in the year.

Pascal is a third year student at University College Falmouth, studying graphic design. A very capable designer who is making the transition to user-centred design from mainstream graphic design. Support him by purchasing one of these excellent posters which reflect his own interesting take on user-centred design. It demonstrates a firm grasp of the subject and a maturity of expression not often found in someone at the beginning of their career.

Signs and Icons

A sign outside a park in Prague.

A sign outside a park in Prague, snapped some years ago. I was reassured to know that no handguns were allowed. I was a bit confused by the one, top-left. Don’t step on grates, perhaps?

Signs and icons are everywhere. They pervade our lives. They existed even before writing began as a means of expression. Figurative and non-figurative images have always been used in pictorial systems of communication. More…
