Whilst working for transport planning consultants Steer Davies Gleave, I was part of the team appointed by Metrolink to re-brand and revitalise its tram network in Manchester.
Whilst involved with all aspects of the project, Jason was specifically concerned with the re-design of the network map, allowing for expansion, sign design and wayfinding in and around stations. The final output was a comprehensive set of guidelines, that extended from brand proposition, through signing and passenger environments, to communications. The guidelines formed part of the Metrolink Operations and Infrastructure procurement contracts.
