Town Planning Graphics

Example document spread from a planning site promotion document

Starting with the first ever project, Yellowfields has provided supporting services to chartered town and country planning organisations. This has included planning application plans, Supporting Planning Statements (SPS) and Design and Access Statement documents (DAS). This continues to be a core offer of Yellowfields—providing clear and persuasive visuals for planning applications, promoting sites and influencing local and national planning policy.

A range of professional, industry-standard, design and DTP tools are used to create high-quality outputs. Geographical Information Systems (GIS) are also employed for spatial analysis, whether calculating time isochrones or isovists, or analysing the patterns in land use or other services data. Yellowfields can also offer 3D visualisation that can be used for sun and shadow studies, massing studies and visibility analysis (viewshed and line of sight). Extracts of some of these outputs are shown here by way of example.
