Auckland Transport Station Maps

Jason was enagaged by Maynard Design Consultants, on behalf of their client, Auckland Transport, New Zealand, to undertake some rapid design development for rail stations in the public transport network. The designs look to simplify multi-level and multi-modal infrastructure. The designs were required to make clear accessibility and core public amenities, and fit in with exisiting design development. Local context and adjacent destinations also needed to be incorporated within the broader concept. This initial developmenet work was implemented and developed further by Maynard to create the first drafts of visual communications as part of their overhaul of the wayfinding and public transport network communications for Auckland Transport.
