Brixham Visitor Map

A self-initiated project, undertaken to address a clear and demonstrable need. Tourists and visitors to Brixham frequently overlook many of the town’s distinctive characteristics and surroundings. As a former resident and someone who was frequently asked, Where is…?, the necessity for a pocket map guide was compelling. Despite the evident advantages of such a product in promoting understanding and encouraging exploration (and subsequent spending), there was no support for the initiative, even though the map was well-received during testing. The extracts provided are from the initial test of an A6 pocket guide; A3 version when unfolded. Regrettably, sometimes the vision simply fails to materialise.
